Overview
We begin by getting to know Los Tres Ojos, a combination of caves and lakes, which have a high sulfur content and indescribable beauty. Later we continue towards the Colonial Zone, where the most important and impressive area of the Colonization period is located. We will walk along Las Damas Street, visiting the National Pantheon and the First Cathedral of America, the first in the New World.
You will enjoy walking or shopping in Conde Peatonal or Calle Las Damas for some souvenirs, since there are a variety of typical crafts and other products such as Mama Juana, Rum, Tobacco, and then arrive at the restaurant and enjoy a delicious Dominican Lunch: Rice, with Stewed Beans, Stewed or Fried Meat, Fish, Various Salads, Pastas, etc.
Then we will have a Panoramic View of the Presidential Palace, Visit to the National Pantheon. Also on the way back along the Malecón de Sto Dgo and then a panoramic view of the lighthouse, a monument to Columbus built to commemorate the discovery of America. NOTE: Clothing for the Cathedral and the National Pantheon must cover the shoulders and knees.
